Loved the relationship between the two central young women, felt super lived-in and earnest. Dialogue is laugh-out-loud funny, queer af, raunchy – stellar, stellar monologues, in particular a very vivid fantasy that was as eloquent as it was thirsty.
What I didn't like
I was disappointed that some of the major events of the play felt rushed and/or under-explored. Wanted to learn more about one character’s impending wedding and an early phone call gives away the inner life of another character too soon, making the eventual reveal something I already had suspected.
My overall impression
A truly funny character study with some gorgeous writing albeit some rushed plotting.
