Mikvah Girls

What I liked

The pacing was great, the set was beautiful and simple, the acting was so moving, Maya Knell is a powerhouse performer, it’s so fun and charming then also so moving and deeply touching.

What I didn't like

There were maybe two or three moments in the play that felt like sitcom-y writing set ups when the rest of the thing moved and flowed more naturally and seamlessly. They were very short and just little set ups for jokey line deliveries, and they worked they just felt a little out of place comparatively.

My overall impression

Mikvah girls is both a hilarious fun time and a touching heart-wrenching journey that no one will want to miss. And there’s butts!
