Wow. I heard another audience member gasp "wow" at a pivotal moment near the end of the play and that's exactly what I felt too. Absolutely loved Mikvah Girls. Emmy Weissman's writing is so smart and funny. The leads Maya Knell and Sofia JoAnna perfectly land every joke and every heartbreaking moment in this stript. A triumph from start to finish!...

Astounding: the acting really stuck out as excellent. From the beginning when each actor entered and looked at the audience, to the end where we feel like we’ve gone on a full journey: flawless. Powerful performances and a beautiful set. It felt so personal, moving, and endearing. I want to see more performances by all three of these actors. I’d basically see anything they participate in. Great directing. Great lighting....

Fantastic set design and some beautiful, grimy imagery in the text. Wonderful tableaux created throughout, using the height and scale of the set to its advantage. Honest, compelling performances by the whole cast. The whole piece feels like a lot of love and care went into mounting this production....
