The theatre has a very intimate atmosphere, coupled with fantastic set design, that allowed the audience to comfortably observe without reservations. The performances really brought this one-act play to life and kept it moving through a roller-coaster of emotion.
What I didn't like
The only possible thing I could gripe on if I were a stickler would be the moments with the light change when the actors looked out into the audience. I like the intent and creativity, but I think this could be improved with some tweaks to the timing and physicality.
My overall impression
I laughed, I cried, I audibly gasped, but most of all; I felt at home as I watched two incredibly vulnerable characters with intrigue and curiosity. Michael and Jennifer deliver deeply personal performances to complement such a raw and gritty story. Congratulations to all those involved with the production.
