There were two sketches in this play where I knew exactly what was going to happen, was squirming in my chair as I saw it happen, and have every ounce of comedy turn into satisfactory disgust as I watch it end.
All actors seemed very in touch with what the writing brought to them. Molly knew what she was doing. It was even funnier at times how realistic the acting felt in contrast to the juxtraposition of it all being about milk. come on. It was funny and I had permission to loudly, loudly laugh. Loved it.
What I didn't like
nothing just make a show about eggs now.
My overall impression
It was a well rounded, heartily created sketch comedy connecting multiple smaller pieces with a larger absurdist story, working to make it all seem so hilariously useless you cannot help but laugh!
Having a very commonly known element of milk be the centerstage to bringing laughter makes it very easy to laugh. I have seen shows where we laugh about things that otherwise make us grieve. This show is laughter for laughters sake and lord knows we need more of that.
