What I liked
Bellina has a wonderful pace throughout, and we feel very safe being taken on her journey from LA to New York, to Europe! Her writing is so specific and well thought out that we have such a clear and visual picture of the locations she describes. This is truly a wonderful adventure for one and all to go on!
What I didn't like
I could have sat and watch her for hours so even longer! Haha she did a marvellous job in 90 minutes!
My overall impression
Bellina plays her Mother with such ease and grace. Both woman are hilarious and what really makes the show so special is that we really feel like we get to know her Mum and we thoroughly enjoy being in her company! Bellina handles very poignant moments in the show with so much skill and respect towards her mother. Sensitive topics are shared with such kindness and she really has a way of leaving space for us, the audience, to process some of what we are seeing on stage, which is a rare ability!
