What I liked
I loved the combination of humor and tenderness, and how the show told the story of an entire mother/daughter relationship in what felt like no time at all. I will never forget the character of Logan’s hilarious, indomitable English mother and the vividness with which she brought her to life—as well as a whole cast of other colorful characters. Sometimes I forgot that there was only one actor onstage—it felt like I’d met so many distinct people.
What I didn't like
The HVAC system in the theater was a little loud and distracting at times.
My overall impression
Deeply funny and deeply moving, with a virtuoso performance by writer/actor Bellina Logan. I went with my daughter and husband and all three of us loved it.
