What I liked

Sarah made me laugh out loud with my whole chest. Her off the cuff delivery of devastating jokes delights and surprises. The concept is quite brilliant, to give the audience access to the dex com monitor while she’s doing the show because it sort of makes us nervous. We’re immersed in her experience briefly, on the same plane with her in the stress of, “at any moment I might have a medical emergency” and while its uncomfortable its also an honor to hold that space with her. She challenges her audience and creates a community bonded by our collective empathy.

What I didn't like

This is a high velocity, challenging show to perform, about a really difficult experience that I realized halfway through the show, like, just happened. If she had a little more time to breathe (maybe after fringe when there isn’t a hard-out) I think a lot of the beats of the show would hit even deeper.

My overall impression

Sarah is a hoot and a half. This show is funny and surprising and emotional and cathartic and Sarah is just so damn charming. See! This! Show!
