What I liked
There’s so much to enjoy about Sunita’s show. Her love of song is obvious in each song choice and the joy in how she sings. It’s clear she’s done a lot of work to keep her voice in top shape past the many hurdles she shared, hitting every note with clarity. Her sequin dress was not only gold but leopard print, such a fun choice!
What I didn't like
I absolutely loved the 2 song closing number of the show so much. Ending with “I regret nothing” is so powerful and impactful, I’m not sure she needs an encore song! The encore is good BUT the pizazz behind a Barbra/Piaf closer is such a powerful punch.
My overall impression
Sunita Param brings us on a sequin bedazzled tour through song and story with her personal show “Sunita: Back to Me.” I loved getting to know her through the songs of her life and how willing she was to open up about the hardships she faced along the way.
