What I liked
She has a beautiful operatic and big voice in a small frame (ala Stephanie Mills) and the songbook she chose to tell her story were spot on. Her radiance and charm as she told her story.
What I didn't like
Absolutely nothing. Wish it was longer! See why this show was an Encore SoloFest choice for 2024.
My overall impression
This was an excellent autobio musical about the life of Ms. Sunita through her upbringing and childhood as a POC of South Asian descent, to her journey in beauty pageant industry, her physical challenges with her voice and emotional scars from her personal life. Very poignant and engaging 60 minutes to sit through! ASYLUM JUDGE
