What I liked

I loved the children and parent talking. You can tell the parents are stressed and you can tell the kids are curious. I loved the back n forth. What i really loved though was the message. Its like Dark Nostalgia. How media marketed towards children tends to portray the world as better than it is. Disney is just the backdrop. Amanda, the actor, does a good job of slowly going unhinged. From the mounting pressure to keep the party fun, to keeping the parents happy, she balances it well. Thoroughly an enjoyable performance.

What I didn't like

nothing

My overall impression

Phenomenal show all about a party gone…existential. It feels like a show for Disney Adults that are more adult than Disney. Very well written and well performed. Skylar is a brilliant writer who i felt came at this from personal experience (or at least the experience of her friends). Amanda is the star of the show and she portrays the party princess character well. If you ever had parents who tried to organize a birthday party, its kinda like that. All the stress and anxiety but dumped on the clown (or in this case princess). Its a great story and i was thoroughly immersed in it.
