The acting was fantastic and the jokes landed perfectly. Great ensemble work! Loved it all — from the music to the writing to the multimedia aspects to even Planet Earth’s costume. I’m a teacher and an actress — and I think this would be a great show to tour schools! I’d also love to hear it as a radio show. Well done, all!
What I didn't like
I’ve worked in rock & roll as well as theatre for many years. Please teach actors a bit more mic technique, specifically, popping P’s and B’s. Also, dedicate a mic and a sound channel to each actor’s mic to achieve a better EQ (deep voiced actor boomed a bit). The echo in a theatre can also make words hard to understand, which means the actors need to enunciate a bit more, without sacrificing character development. I would keep the EQ flat and avoid any delay or special efx (which I think you did). As I write this, I realize shows go in and out of theatres quickly at Fringefest and it’s hard to control the sound this way! Just a few ideas….
My overall impression
What a hilarious show….but I also left the theatre asking myself what more I can do to protect the earth.
