What I liked
I thought it was a very polished and lovingly thought through production about an important topic. Really capable comedic cast & they provided a lot of variety throughout the show.
What I didn't like
Heads up to the audience that there’s a lot of audience participation! I was feeling a bit grumpy about having to do work but was actually delighted to see what everyone came up with, so it is a cool idea. The bigger challenge for me is a knee injury that makes standing still for a long time painful, so consider offering a comfortable option to audience members to stay seated or sit in another area in case they have non obvious disabilities!
My overall impression
The Planet Earth Farewell Concert was a clever way to address the very real and devastating climate catastrophe! It also sought to examine the futile efforts we’ve made to stop this crisis from coming to a head in a way that felt really original and creative.
