What I liked

As a big fan of dance, watching Andrea’s choreography alone would have been a delight. However, she goes beyond that, taking the audience on a captivating journey through her experience with loss. The performance was also funny at times, making it highly relatable and transforming the personal into the universal.

What I didn't like

I am the Paula Abdul of all reviewing. I only like saying positive things especially to artists who put themselves out there at this capacity.

My overall impression

Andrea is an incredible performer; her vulnerability and expression are deeply poignant. She truly, literally, throws herself into the work, bringing a raw humanity to life’s mundane cruelties. It’s an incredibly original and moving performance. I have never seen anything quite like it. “You Can’t Be Serious” is a beautiful piece of art, and I would recommend it to anyone.
