What I liked
Loved the playfulness with the audience throughout, even when the topic shifted to be focused on something deeply personal and serious. Also, as the show’s Shabbos goy, I personally learned a lot! Abel covers a lot of ground and the energy and flow of the show is truly impressive.
What I didn't like
There were powerful moments of stillness that would sometimes be interrupted by an audience member offering to lighten the mood, which Abel adjusted to beautifully, but I’d love there to be a clearer agreement with the audience on the call & response so those still moments can truly resonate.
My overall impression
Vulnerable, incredibly silly yet incredibly serious – a difficult balance that Abel courageously carries well!
