What I liked

The whole thing. My favorite part was when he stared me down with beady eyes while reciting one of Gandolf’s most important monologues. I felt like a little kid. His energy just felt so bright and positive; like he was just being himself. It’s rare to see / feel.

What I didn't like

There is nothing that could possibly be improved. I’m not worthy.

My overall impression

DEAR GOD this show was delightful as hell. I have kind of a big laugh, but I don’t laugh easily. I thought I was going to lose my internal organs during this show with how much this guy made me laugh! To me it felt as if someone that was an insane Lord of the Rings fan decided on a whim that they wanted to memorize the film (but not the OG version, the EXTENDED version) so that they could share it in this form one day — dressed as Gandolf nontheless — in the perfect balance of what felt like off-the-cuff storytelling, meets kids story hour at a Barnes and Noble, meets mastermind. The amount of hilarity and comedic timing he had plus commitment to what feels like a really long, well-planned out joke… was really just a treat to see and I wish I could see it again and bring popcorn.
