What I liked
I especially enjoyed Riley’s portrayal of the different characters in the story. My favorite was his impression of the evil Saruman.
What I didn't like
Halfway through the show, Gandalf’s beard slipped to hang below his chin. I don’t think this really bothered anyone. We all knew it was Riley under those grey whiskers.
My overall impression
The Lord of the Rings: . . . Extended Edition: Part two was fun. Riley Smith is Gandalf and his retelling of Peter Jackson’s filmic masterpiece made me smile and laugh. With the audience providing the film’s well-known soundtrack, we were made part of the story and enjoyed sharing Smith’s adventure.
