Such a smart adaptation of Chekhov’s Three Sisters. It’s hard to pull off COVID stories, and I was incredibly moved by this one. The large cast and family dynamics in the home leaves lots for audiences to latch onto. I would love to see it again to gain even more from the story as the production, though bare for the festival, was so nuanced. So impressed by this new company and can’t wait to see what they do next! ...

Conversations In Exile is a great production that is thoughtfully and beautifully written for recent times. The acting is excellent and clearly portrays the characters lost happiness as they navigate family, desire, love and regret amidst a sea of unfulfilled dreams and ambitions. Poignant and relatable with a touch of humor, this thought-provoking play translates the depth and complexity of Checkov’s original Three Sisters to a time of covid, wildfires and social unrest. Really enjoyed it – well done!...
