The characters felt authentic and real. The dialogues were captivating.
What I didn't like
The ending felt abrupt. It would be better to allow a bit more time for reflection, letting the audience fully immerse themselves in the moment.
My overall impression
An older Indian woman, understanding, producing, and performing through the work of a seasoned female playwright, drew me into the story. The interplay between a feisty grandmother and her emotional granddaughter filled the stage with refreshing energy. The dialogue was entertaining, and above all, Vee Kumari’s natural and endearing portrayal of the grandmother kept me smiling throughout. This is a delightful show at the Fringe that you don’t want to miss.
