Every moment of sadness is broken with such truly funny humor that you’re never left bored. It moves impeccably well. The stories that Bill tells evoke a level of empathy for the veteran experience that I have, sadly, never been able to understand. I only hope more people can see this, if only to begin to understand. This literally sent me home and straight onto Google to see how we can better support veterans in our country. This is the perfect show at the perfect time.
What I didn't like
Maybe one more element of audience engagement? This isn’t a make it or break it note, but it could be interesting to prolong the group experience and camaraderie at the top.
My overall impression
Beautiful. Funny. Poignant. Important. Bill always broke the tension exactly when needed. You cry WITH him because he takes on his journey so impeccably well. Truly incredible.
