What I liked
I loved the storytelling and the frankness with which Bill conveys this show. The lighting design was excellent. I also loved how much info he taught about being in the military during war time. Truly a perspective I didn’t know I needed as much as I did.

My overall impression
One of the best solo shows I’ve ever seen! Bill’s performance is immaculate and the journey he guides the audience through is an unforgettable thrill ride. His raw emotion, passion, and vulnerability are on full display in The Day I Accidentally Went To War. This show, directed by the incredible Bente Engelstoft and produced by the amazing Suzee Dunn, is the must-see show of the entire 2024 festival.
