What I liked
The slideshow was a great element, I loved seeing the actual footage of this period of Devon’s life.
What I didn't like
N/A – except more singing! Devon has a beautiful voice, I can’t believe anyone ever said anything otherwise!
My overall impression
A funny and yet heartbreaking exploration of Devon’s quest for teenage stardom. Devon is excellent at bringing her audience into the fold — sharing with us the things she used to find humiliating and now finds empowering, and experiences she used to think were normal that she now finds traumatic — all while keeping us entertained and laughing.
