What I liked
Devon incorporates actually footage and songs she recorded as a child. There’s no doubt the whole story is true. The way she brings humor to these otherwise horrible experiences (yes, multiple) has you championing her presently for finding a way to turn these lemons into lemonade.
What I didn't like
No notes – this show is air-tight. I’d love to see this as a TV show.
My overall impression
Devon is such a seasoned performer – she has such a casual command of the stage that leaves the audience feeling well cared for. This show is so tight, funny, earnest, and poignant. Her skills in improv and standup comedy are well showcased. Easily one of the best shows at Hollywood Fringe. I’m so so proud of my friend! Congratulations.
