What I liked

I love love love the amoeba opening. I could watch an hour of that. There are such stunning stage pictures. I love how one thing morphs into an another. The king is one of my favorite characters and I like when George circles around the stage and his cape picks up all the debris on stage. And the monkey dance! such a beautiful and fun moment.

I also love that you added pubes

My overall impression

Soft Animal is ambitious, playful, silly, and activating. I’ve seen multiple iterations of this show and I’m always fully invested and surprised by what George brings to each moment. This show perfectly displays George’s exceptional clowning, improvisation, writing, and character acting. He’s so skilled. It’s just a pleasure to watch him fly.
