What I liked

I love the title of Soft Animal to start. Couldn’t be a more perfect linguistic frame for this show. When he’s finally a human, his choice of specific characters makes it so much more fun and rewarding. I also really love the way he interacts with the audience. George includes people who want to be included in a gentle and playful way.

What I didn't like

The part where he reads from the Trapper Keeper had lower energy than other parts but did not take away from the show as a whole for me, and I did enjoy seeing him talk seriously in the lizard mask.

My overall impression

Opening with a clown exploration of animal through evolution, George Aivaliotis takes us on an equally pensive and silly journey.
