What I liked

The Transpiring is full of dry and physical humor that really makes the show.
Apparently the actor portraying Robbie/Stark Svengali/Mr. Vampire contracted Covid-19 so the director, Spencer Frankeberger stepped in to play that part. Let me just say, Spencer stop directing and keep up the acting roles. He was a HOOT!
All of the actors brought their individuality to this show and it made it so FUN!
The music was brilliant. I was clapping my hands and moving to the beat.

Loved the choreography by Soda Persi.

What I didn't like

Maybe for the upcoming shows:

VANESSA: can wear more make up. Embrace leaving Vance and becoming Vanessa (it’s theatre, add more make up for a dramatic/defiant effect).

STEPHAN – needs to sing!

DENISE: is blocked when taking off the earrings as she gets ready to fight Robbie. Take them off while you’re talking to Robbie and standing up for Vanessa.

SOLOMON & JAMIE: they are married. Touch hands and/or hug when talking about how you met. Bring the romance for the audience to see.

My overall impression

A fresh and hilarious Hollywood Fringe play with a diverse cast including two VAMPIRES!
Much needed comedic stage musical that should also be a television show.
