I loved how the songs were often very funny, such as the “explain the file” or “they’re here!” songs, where the audience was laughing while also enjoying the musical performance. The characters were
The main character’s mannerisms and acting style reminded me so much of David from Schitts Creek (which if you’ve seen that show is quite the compliment). I’ve seen Samantha Lappin in other shows, and as always her talent and natural place on the stage is apparent. Her performance captured the emotional struggle of sexual identity thoughtfully while also making me laugh.
What I didn't like
I’m not too sure, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great Sunday night activity!
My overall impression
Very well put together, from the clever and hysterical songs, the timing of funny lines, and the character development. I could tell that the cast put long hours into putting this play together.
