What I liked
Oh I adore the little sister and best friend characters! They are so sweet and lovable and larger than life!
What I didn't like
Perhaps due to the fact that I viewed the show via livestream, it was hard to hear the words during the rap segments, so some parts of the story were lost for me, especially in the first scene.
My overall impression
What a fun and campy show! The Transpiring is full of puns, pop references, upbeat hip hop beats and rapping, plot twists, and sitcom-esque family bonding under the most fantastical scenario. It’s a great watch that will make you chuckle and smile with very likeable and silly characters! If you like Rocky Horror, you’ll like this musical too.
