Maria interacted with her audience in ways that I found so unique and charming. Telling people in the crowd to go fetch stuff from her car or puppet a stuffed dog for her kept us on our toes in ways that I freaking loved. Also this character’s sunny but oblivious disposition was just so pleasant to watch for an hour.
What I didn't like
I thought the audio was a little fuzzy sounding in a way that took a minute for my ear to adjust to, but I dunno how I’d fix that short of buying a better mic.
My overall impression
I had such a great time! This show is unapologetically strange, but also so funny with the occasional emotional gut punch.
