Grief Box

What I liked

Kathleen Leary is hilarious while also giving this character depth and complexity. She goes on a full emotional journey in under 45 minutes, it’s remarkable. The production design is effective in its simplicity with some incredibly funny projections which you just have to see.

What I didn't like

Dare I say, what would an hour-long version look like?

My overall impression

Whereas so many pieces that deal with grief tend to wallow in the sadness, Grief Box finds the humor even in the most dire of situations. With a charismatic lead, witty script, tight direction, and creative production design, Grief Box is a one-of-a-kind solo show you won’t want to miss.
