For the first time in her 15-year committed partnership, she experiences attraction and romantic/sexual entanglement with other men, resulting in a whole “second awakening” to her sexuality and womanhood, challenging her worldview on relationships, and ultimately leading up to her first adult heartbreak. She discovers parts of herself she never knew existed, resulting in some radical personal transformation and some hard lessons she’s never had to learn until now.
