What I liked

Brett’s humor and attitude immediately makes you feel right at home. While the show will ring truer for fans, non-baseball fans can easily slide into this foreign world of stats, numbers, and bizarre facts. The show was a great combination of mentalism, chill humor, and beautiful real stories.

What I didn't like

When’s Triple Play? I know it’s rare but doesn’t hurt to ask.

My overall impression

Batter Up: Double Play is a marvelous continuation of Brett Moore’s previous Batter Up show in 2019. Masterfully juggling random trivia, incredible mental recall, and genuinely moving stories, Brett Moore makes you feel like you’re chilling at home with a beer talking to your cool uncle about who won the World Series in 1954. Much needed in a week where we lost Willie Mays, probably the best to ever do it.
