What I liked
Sincerity, modesty amidst a display of awe-inspiring knowledge, and attendees such as myself not being required to have more than rudimentary baseball knowledge.
What I didn't like
The spirited pace occasionally becomes breathless. A hair less speed and more deliberation in those moments wouldn’t rob the presentation of any energy.
My overall impression
You know how you have a friend who is so fervidly and joyously into something that you get caught in the undertow of their enthusiasm? This is that friend in Fringe show form. You don’t need to catch every arcane reference about America’s favorite sport to recognize true enthusiasm — and if it’s slightly tinged with mania, it ends up being more endearing for it. Come reveal in another person’s unabashed zest and human-encyclopedic knowledge.
