The spectrum of experience as a “baby” from the literal baby to the mother whose internal “baby” is desperate to be hugged and picked “up”. The audience interaction was perfect, and the whole story had a beautiful, cyclical symmetry.
What I didn't like
I was towards the back and had to strain to see the staging on the floor when “baby” is crawling around. This wasn’t a big deal, and after the first 10 mins wasn’t an issue.
My overall impression
Absolutely adored this show— sounds cliche, but I laughed and I cried (truly!). The characters are rich and compelling, the stories vulnerable and relatable, the clowning both silly and smart.
