This show really captures the deep love a child can feel for their parent… even though said parent may drive them crazy. It is always exciting to see an artist take something personal and painful and make something beautiful out of it, but rarely has it ever been so damn hysterical to boot. Truly, Alli is a one-of-a-kind.
What I didn't like
Can’t believe Father Fitzpatrick would be so rude
My overall impression
Heavy, yes, but undoubtedly hilarious, Alli Miller is a wrecking ball of a performer who had me rolling with laughter through all her stories of her mother, many of which have a “horrifying if you think about it for two seconds” quality to them.
