A serious topic packed with laughs and notes of sadness that we can all relate to. I loved the dialogue it had real hints of the movie HEATHERS, but didn't copy, this is original. It's about the uncertainty of growing up during troubled times. We all know what it's like to question the future and our place in it and these actors, this story, this show does an excellent job of capturing that feeling. ... full review

Such a strong writing and directing sample! A beautiful, tender look at how an ensemble can build each other up or tear each other down. SO fun to watch, and the cast is spectacular. ... full review

An interesting look inside what happens when preteen girls are left to fend for themselves. In a lord of the flies type of way. I felt like I was too apart of the lockdown drill. And now thriftshop is stuck in my head! ... full review

Queen Bee was a well-written, funny examination of what might happen if a bunch of very different 12-year-old girls were forced to stay together during a school lockdown. Leaders are chosen, outsiders are bullied, friendships are tested... all hyped up to the level of pre-teen girl importance, a time when every little thing is life or death. Both hilarious and heartwarming, it was a perfect show to start my Fringe schedule!... full review

An ambitious undertaking about middle school kids under a lockdown (drill?)—a nostalgic set and fun 2012 soundtrack, but the play really shines in its pairings. ... full review
