What I liked
The jellyfish underwater world was just so beautiful. The choice of seeing the puppeteers above the stage looked odd at first, but very quickly I appreciated and very much enjoyed this choice. It works very well with these duck bodies and this blackbox style theatre.
What I didn't like
I hope Latitude makes a public instagram for the show to make it easier to post about!
My overall impression
Latitude is a puppet show starring two ducks venturing off the beaten path. The show feels poetic at times, a lovely meditation on free will. This show is appropriate for all ages in terms of the material, but it’s also smarter than a super young kid would have patience for! A precocious kid might eat this all the way up, and it’s certainly great for adults, who I believe are the intended audience.
