The writing was fast paced and edgy. I felt the writer and director, Benjamin Schwartz was top notch. The music was great, the images and visuals of the Dalai Lama set the stage for the play and gave it authenticity. The actors all performed with perfect timing. The interaction between the actors made me laugh. I was able to relate to all of the characters on some level. Using the audience as extras worked so well that I almost thought they were actors. The play held my interest for so long that I was let down when it was finished.
What I didn't like
Nothing I can think of.
My overall impression
A timely subject done with humor and candor. It is a sad commentary when anyone’s reputation can be ruined in a fleeting moment due to misunderstanding and ignorance, and by not taking into account the various cultural aspects of the event, thus reacting with hysteria. The PR team was great in that they presented different views on how to manage the crisis. I could relate to the story line as it follows our social commentary of today.
