I liked the concept of this show, something you don’t really see very often in a play, and it made for a very funny and specific subject matter that allowed the story to zero in and create a variety of really funny vignettes and group scenes that brought the story together. I found the projections for this show really helpful as well, for context and for plot relevance. I liked the variety of solo and group scenes structurally. The characters were all so fun and different and I liked watching these very different people who all had their own ideologies have to work together to achieve a common goal.
What I didn't like
Nothing I can think of for improvement.
My overall impression
Lots of fun, and thought provoking. Very clear and different characters. Quite a funny and interesting, yet also important topical thing to make a show about. Would recommend. All the cast did a great job and the writing flowed well. Direction was also clear, and the piece felt very cohesive. If you want to see a fun show about a unique topic, definitely go see Suck my Tongue!
