What a great idea to write a show about that episode, told from the perspective of a group of US journalists. I didn't know much about the details of what happened with the Dalai Lama, so it was one of those shows where you learn a lot. Highlighting the impact of the current cancel culture is also a valuable aspect of the show, making the audience more aware of this phenomenon in a critical, non-judgmental way.

Veep as a theater performance. The entire situation felt like I was watching an unaired episode of the show. Absolutely no one is qualified to handle the task at hand, yet all of them are in charge of handling it. Pretty damn funny....
