Sweet, funny, frightening and ultimately deeply moving, Katelyn Schiller's "Murder Blood Bear Story Part 2" is a work so poetic, tactile, surprising and singular, it accesses an emotional language so uncommonly rich and primal that the only proper response is to allow yourself to bathe in its otherworldly and achingly empathetic aura....

Katelyn’s absolute commitment to this show is to be incredibly admired and respected in my opinion. I loved the theatricality of the piece, and I found it very engaging how Katelyn was able to use the overall extremity of the subject matter through lighting and intense acting choices. The puppetry work was outstanding, and enhanced the play significantly....

This show is incredible. From start to finish, Katelyn absolutely captivates and transports audiences into a story world that feels dizzyingly strange yet eerily recognizable, like remembering the moment right before you were born, viscerally, emotionally, even physically. Feels like an ancient yet future tale, and I knew in my heart and bones that it was important, even as Katelyn spooled and spooned the story little by little, the puzzle pieces slipping into formation all at once in breathtaking moments. My heart felt restarted by this show, resuscitated and beating fast. Plus the bear puppet rules! ...

Funny and beautiful and whimsical. Tender and painful as a bruise. Katelyn is a force of nature, a sage, a shapeshifter, and, yes, a mfing bear. This one is a must see....

Powerhouse performance
Very powerful performance here with the most adorable ferocious bear puppet I've ever seen. Katelyn Schiller shines as the sincere and open-hearted Blue and the realistic and complex characters they encounter on the other side of hibernation. The Little Prince-esque. Reality is both sweet and turbulent....

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. If you'd like to witness a master in storytelling, come see Katelyn in Murder Blood Bear Story Part 2. Weaving in and out characters seamlessly through voice and movement and so imaginatively painting such a clear picture of the worlds she was living in through her writing, puppet work, and acting, left be breathless. Katelyn so beautifully challenges the ideas of happiness allowing us to question at what lengths and sacrifice we may permit for this one emotion. It reminds us that it's okay to celebrate the complexities of our human experience. Beautiful and powerful work....

She is an absolute joy to watch, and she did such a fantastic job of sucking me into this world with her. I was so impressed. It should be required that everyone go see this show. ...
