What I liked

Across the board EXCELLENCE in the WRITING, MUSIC, LYRICS, DIRECTION, CHOREOGRAPHY and PERFORMANCES! The leading actor, Lucas Alifano, was charming, adorable, and had the audiences eating out of his hairy palms! This ensemble was truly one of most professional, most cohesive I have seen at the Fringe! The group numbers were stellar!! All cast members truly shined and they were in the hands of a masterful Director, Victor Isaac, who can take a bow with his cast!

What I didn't like

This show is already at incredibly high level of professionalism, so, while this isn’t an “improvement” idea, I can only say that it is time for a larger venue and more money to go into the production values of set design, costumes, lighting, and sound.

My overall impression

A prediction… this musical is BOUND FOR GREATNESS beyond the fringe festivals that is appearing at this summer! That’s right… while we get the pleasure of a production here, New York is also getting to fall in love with the story, music and lyrics of this loveable lug Bigfoot, his sickly Momma, the altruistic Mr./Dr., the not-so-sane girlfriend, Joanne, the drunkest Mayor ever, and some of Muddirt’s finest towns folks!! I was privileged to see this show and have several tunes still in my head! This cast and crew KILLED IT (no, not Bigfoot), but they did kill selling us the goods!! And I want more, more, more! When you leave a show humming several songs, that’s the telltale sign of an OUTSTANDING musical! I’ll be seeing this show Off-Broadway one of these days… you heard it here.
