What I liked
I love that someone finally wrote a fabulous musical about Bigfoot. The political messages were spot on, and the mayor was a hilarious antagonist.
What I didn't like
Maybe the music should come from the on-stage speakers instead of from the ones over the audience. Some singers/lyrics were drowned out.
Also, the townspeople’s arc felt a smidge repetitive.
My overall impression
“Muddirt! Muddirt!” If you’re looking for a musical about Bigfoot, you came to the right place. Twelve hours later and I still have the lyrics on repeat in my head. Strong singers and a winning performance by Bigfoot himself, this is a delightful romp.
