What I liked

This story made me laugh. Jim (Edwin) in particular had just the right tone. He’s the audience surrogate in this odd world, and he plays his hand perfectly. The sisters are also a delight to watch, no matter if they are fight with 10-dollar words, or gleefully singing and dancing together in scenes that genuinely gave me the chills.

What I didn't like

There was a lot of miming and space work on a stage that was so filled with real objects. Perhaps the props and set could be paired down just a bit and commit to the miming more.

The motivation of Bebe, I’m unsure I followed it the entire time. Is it truly all in the DNA? Is there some kind of hypnosis being back in the house? Bebe doesn’t seem fully in charge of all of her decisions, and I would have liked to know the rules of this a bit clearer.

My overall impression

I honestly had no idea where this play was going, and that is the best feeling. Starting out with a woman who seems to be unwell in a mental way, we honestly don’t know at any point, which two people will team up and triumph over the third. Makes some BIG choices and I love that so much. This play is well worth the trip. Is it all a game, or is it something more?
