What I liked
Loved the pacing, vulnerability, comedy, and over all message about being an artist. Without giving anything away, I was moved in many ways.
What I didn't like
ZERO creative notes. Minor tech note: While I ALWAYS love intimacy and immediacy, in this space, I would have have preferred the house lights turned off or even dimmed after the intro “sub” section, as it was simply hard for me to see the stage with them on. They are just very bright in that particular space.
My overall impression
One of the best solo shows I have seen. Ever. Not just at Fringe. Just ever. Entertaining and emotional. Karen is it.
