I've seen this play twice now, and this iteration is by far my favorite. I am always blown away by the sharp witty dialogue and the magnetism between the leads (who have the most excellent chemistry as a group of sisters at odds with each other), but the staging was one of my favorite elements this round. Such excellent use of space and depth. I am so happy this play got the two-story staging it deserved. It may be time for round three! ...

Beautifully acted and nuanced show about three sisters dealing with their mother's death. Each character uniquely written with a clear viewpoint from each. I saw a little bit of my own self in each of the sisters....

What most impressed me about OBSESSED was the production's ability to immerse me, the audience member, into the fraught and often-spiraling mindset of its lead character, Eloise. Everything from the monologues to the staging to the dreamlike sequences helped translate an internal experience into something alive and tangible on stage....

This show takes a difficult, personal topic and presents it with masterful storytelling and smart, smart humor. The writing is superb! Stay sharp because the first half of the show is a barrage of one funny line after another and you won't want to miss any of it! The layers of the story unfold beautifully throughout the entire 90 minutes. ...

I loved the distinct characters. All three of them were so different but still felt realistic to a family we’ve all seen. It was emotional but also so funny & loved the reoccurring themes. ...

What a powerful story from Starr Shapiro. Trying to get a handle on one's own mental struggles is exhausting enough. Adding in grief (a huge trigger for those struggles) and family (yup, that adds another trigger) make this a compelling view of the lies our brain tells us and how hard it is to quiet them. ...

OBSESSED! It’s so satsifying watching a narrative unfold that knows when to make you laugh, cry, both at the same time— I mean this show is a roller coaster of emotions. When you’re not at the extremes, it felt like we were simmering, waiting to for something to snap the tension but afraid of what could come next....
