My overall impression
Gloeckner is a force. I found myself entirely immersed in this story populated by only one performer, realized to a complete world in dialogue with itself and the audience. Funny, inspiring, and distinctly insightful. Modern Butchood introduces Gloeckner as an authentic, fully-formed artistic voice. If MB isn’t re-staged and made known by a wider audience, we will surely see Ms. Gloeckner make a name for herself elsewhere down the road. Brava.
