What I liked
Quotable dialogue that still lives in my brain rent free. The pacing. The twist that had me scared and anxious for Molly. And the sound design for all the added characters.
What I didn't like
I could’ve sat in that theater for another 2 hours. Make this into a full production or a series because it’s so damn good.
My overall impression
Reminiscent of Phoebe Waller Bridge’s one woman show Fleabag. Incredible show!! I was fully engaged and transfixed with Mollys performance. The writing was clean, quick, and expansive.
The blocking and direction was amazing. To be able to turn a back box into a party, an apartment complex, the outside at 2am, and a dream sequence all within an hour by yourself is truly a sight to behold. Theater is great when you see magic happen and ask yourself “how did they do that???” That’s this show. It’s a marvel and Molly is a top tier talent. Bravo!!
