Molly holds the entire show on her shoulders. The story, the characters, the rhythm. It’s all her. It’s vulnerable and incredibly intimate. Like the greatest theater, Modern Butchood feels like a single spontaneous burst of magic. But Molly’s performance demands a high level of craft and technique. I can only imagine she will sharpen the show as it continues.

My overall impression
Funny, vulnerable, smart, and consistently surprising. Molly depicts a character not at all unfamiliar: neurotic, sensitive, inescapably human. Everybody on this planet has to figure out how to come to terms with themselves. Molly’s unique perspective was a delight to experience, leaving me with a great deal to think about on my drive home. This show is a MUSTSEE.
