Reilly is clearly a well-practiced comedian and has an effortless delivery and stage presence. The critiques of Rainbow Fish and The Giving Tree were my favorites. And addressing that horrible Shel Silverstein author photo was so satisfying.
What I didn't like
Some of the structural parts of the show were somewhat confusing to me, like when we were asked to do drumrolls (why?) and where the different drawings of the stories came from that were shown in the projections.
My overall impression
Reilly captivates the audience with a compelling character and powerful messages about the stories and morals we grow up with as children.
